Pakistan's journey toward a strong democracy has faced many obstacles. However, the
benefits of true democratic governance are clear to its citizens. Challenges include
tensions between military and democratic institutions, religious and cultural
extremism, strained international relations, and the influence of powerful elites.
Despite these issues, there is a strong desire for a fair and functional system.
Collaboration between political parties and the military is crucial for achieving
peace and stable democracy.
The current political situation, with opposition leaders jailed and potential
conflicts, highlights the need for a sustainable and fair system that benefits
everyone. Pakistanis abroad are willing to support their country through investments
and visits, provided there is stable and peaceful democratic governance.
If political parties, military institutions, and civic leaders unite, Pakistan can
achieve the full benefits of authentic democracy, leading to prosperity and peace.
Even if just 1% of the over 10 million Pakistanis abroad invested $100,000 each in
their homeland, it could add $10 billion to Pakistan's economy, driving further
development and stability. The following 'Peace and Strengthen Democracy Framework,'
created by Pakistanis, offers a roadmap to political stability and national success.
STATE OF PALESTINE
Party #1
Ranked #1
Palestine should dismantle all armed group infrastructure and, for 10 years, rely on UN security without forming its own army.
Palestine should dismantle all infrastructure associated with armed organizations within its territory, including the disarmament of militias and the decommissioning of any facilities used for military operations or paramilitary activities. This measure is aimed at fostering long-term peace and stability within the region by reducing the potential for violence and armed conflict.
For a period of 10 years, Palestine will not be allowed to establish or maintain its own independent army. This temporary restriction is intended to build trust in the peace process and allow for the development of stable, democratic governance without the risk of militarization. During this time, the United Nations will assume responsibility for ensuring Palestine’s security, protecting its sovereignty against any external threats. UN peacekeeping forces and international security guarantees will be in place to prevent any military aggression or incursions from neighboring states or hostile actors.
Just like Japan, Germany, and other nations that focused on their economies after WWII and gained economic and financial independence, this 10-year period is designed to help Palestine focus on internal development, its people, governance, and building peaceful relations with Israel and the broader international community. It also provides a framework for security that ensures Palestine's protection while discouraging an arms race or militarization in the region. The long-term goal is to create conditions where, after this period, Palestine may reassess its security needs in a peaceful and stable context, potentially with international oversight or cooperation.
Palestine should release all hostages and condemn the acts of October 7th.
Palestine should release all hostages currently held by any groups within its territory, ensuring their safe return to their families. In addition, Palestinian leadership should unequivocally condemn the violent acts committed on October 7th, distancing itself from any association with these actions. By doing so, Palestine can demonstrate a clear commitment to peace and the protection of innocent lives. This condemnation would send a strong message that such acts of violence are unacceptable and not representative of the broader aspirations for justice and freedom in Palestine. These actions would also serve to rebuild trust with Israel and the international community, paving the way for renewed dialogue and efforts toward a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Palestine should conduct free and fair elections to establish a democratic government.
Palestine should conduct free and fair elections to establish a democratic government that accurately reflects the will of its people. These elections must be open to all eligible voters, ensuring that every citizen has the right to participate without fear of coercion, intimidation, or interference. International observers should be invited to monitor the electoral process, guaranteeing transparency and credibility. The election process must include provisions for equal access to media, freedom of assembly, and the ability for all political parties to campaign freely. By conducting a fair election, Palestine can establish a government that is both legitimate and accountable, paving the way for stronger institutions, the rule of law, and the protection of civil rights. A democratic government would also improve Palestine’s standing in the international community and foster better relations with Israel and other neighboring nations, creating a foundation for long-term peace and stability.
Palestine should secure support from the majority of the Islamic countries and the OIC for the recognition of Israel and Palestine as independent states.
Palestine should actively work to convince majority of the leading Islamic countries and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to formally recognize both the newly established State of Palestine and the State of Israel. This would require diplomatic efforts to engage these nations, demonstrating how mutual recognition of the two states aligns with the broader goals of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. Palestine should emphasize that recognizing Israel alongside a sovereign Palestine will contribute to resolving long-standing conflicts, fostering economic development, and securing the rights and aspirations of both peoples. By gaining the backing of influential Islamic countries and the OIC, Palestine can help create a united front that promotes peace while strengthening its own legitimacy as an independent state. This international endorsement would enhance the prospects for sustainable peace, improve diplomatic relations between Islamic nations and Israel, and support ongoing negotiations for a just and lasting resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Palestine should ensure all citizens under 45 are employed full-time or complete a 12-month vocational education program.
Palestine should implement policies that guarantee all its citizens, both men and women under the age of 45, are either gainfully employed in full-time careers or enrolled in vocational education programs lasting at least 12 months. This initiative aims to address unemployment, improve economic stability, and equip young people with the skills needed to contribute to Palestine's development. By providing access to education and job opportunities, Palestine can reduce poverty, foster entrepreneurship, and strengthen its labor market. Special focus should be given to sectors that align with the country's economic priorities, such as technology, agriculture, and manufacturing, ensuring that vocational training programs are relevant and effective. Additionally, this policy would promote gender equality by ensuring equal access to opportunities for both men and women, helping to break down barriers to women's participation in the workforce. Overall, this approach would empower the citizens, boost economic growth, and lay the foundation for a more prosperous and self-reliant Palestine.
Israel should withdraw from Gaza and the West Bank, with UN forces assuming control over these areas and the State of Palestine. Additionally, Israel should release all imprisoned Palestinian children, women, and elderly freedom fighters and allow others the opportunity for a retrial.
Israel should withdraw its military forces from Gaza and the West Bank, allowing United Nations peacekeeping forces to assume control over these territories and ensure security. This would facilitate the transition to full Palestinian governance in the West Bank and Gaza, while helping to establish the State of Palestine. The UN's involvement would ensure stability, protect human rights, and foster conditions for peaceful coexistence between Israel and Palestine. This approach aims to create a fair and lasting resolution, paving the way for the two-state solution. Israel should release imprisoned Palestinian children, women, and elderly on humanitarian grounds, while providing other detainees with retrials to ensure fairness. This approach aims to uphold human rights and foster peace efforts.
Israel should reform its constitution, legal, and administrative systems to ensure equal rights for all citizens, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or color.
Israel should undertake significant reforms to its constitution, legal framework, and administrative systems to guarantee that all citizens, irrespective of their religion, ethnicity, or background, are granted equal rights and protections under the law. These changes would address any legal or institutional barriers that may prevent full equality and inclusion for minority groups, such as non-Jewish citizens, within Israeli society. The reforms should focus on eliminating discrimination in areas like employment, education, housing, and public services, ensuring that all citizens enjoy the same opportunities and protections. By enshrining equality in its legal system, Israel would not only strengthen its democratic foundations but also promote social cohesion, reduce tensions, and foster greater unity among its diverse population. This commitment to equality would further align Israel with international human rights standards and enhance its global reputation as a fair and inclusive democracy.
Israel must evacuate illegal settlements in the State of Palestine and either dismantle or fairly compensate for illegal settlements within Israel.
Israel must evacuate all illegal settlements established within the newly formed State of Palestine, ensuring the complete removal of Israeli settlers from areas recognized as part of Palestinian territory. This evacuation is necessary to uphold international law and respect Palestinian sovereignty. Within Israel's borders, Israel must address illegal settlements by either dismantling them entirely or compensating the original landowners with fair market value, as determined by an impartial evaluation. Compensation must be provided in cases where dismantling is not feasible or where settlers remain on land that was unjustly taken from Palestinians. These measures are crucial to achieving justice for displaced Palestinians, fostering trust, and creating the conditions necessary for a long-lasting peace between Israel and Palestine. By taking these steps, Israel would signal its commitment to resolving territorial disputes and respecting the rights of all individuals affected by the settlements.
Israel should agree to a two-state solution, creating an independent State of Palestine with secure, recognized borders alongside Israel.
Israel should agree to a two-state solution, creating an independent and sovereign State of Palestine that will exist alongside Israel. Both nations will have secure, internationally recognized borders, ensuring peace and stability in the region. This solution involves negotiations to address key issues such as territorial boundaries, security arrangements, the status of Jerusalem, and the rights of refugees, aiming for a fair and just resolution that respects the aspirations and needs of both Israelis and Palestinians. The agreement will be built on mutual recognition, cooperation, and a commitment to lasting peace.
Israel should grant open access to all tourists, regardless of religion, to visit and enjoy its sites.
Israel should grant free and open access to all tourists, regardless of their religion or nationality, to visit and enjoy the diverse cultural, religious, and historical sites within the State of Israel. This policy would promote inclusivity and respect for the rich heritage shared by multiple faiths, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. By ensuring that all visitors can access sacred and historical landmarks without discrimination, Israel can foster greater understanding, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue. Such an initiative would also boost tourism, enhance Israel’s global image, and strengthen its commitment to religious freedom and coexistence.
